We have approximately 200 lots available.
Lots vary in size but average 50’ x 130’.
You purchase your new home directly from us.
The lot remains part of the park which means you never have to worry about maintenance like snow clearing and lawn care.

FAQ

How does ownership work?

You own the home but lease the lot from us.

What about property tax?

The home has a title and you will pay property tax on it. Since the land is not part of the tax bill you can expect very reasonable annual taxes.

Can I rent the home?

Yes! Homes are available to rent or purchase.

Who built the homes?

After looking at many builders, we teamed up with Triple M Housing. Prairie Oaks homes are built in a factory under perfect conditions and outstanding quality control.

Do I have any maintenance?

The HOA fee includes snow clearing (including your driveway), grass cutting, general park maintenance, and upkeep of the Community Centre & Clubhouse.

Kids?

This is an adult-oriented community and children under 18 cannot reside permanently.

How about the Clubhouse?

You can use it at your discretion. Our community manager will coordinate the use of this space and can help you book it for any private functions like birthdays or family gatherings.

What about pets?

Pets are welcome in the community, subject to approval from the community manager.

Can I do some landscaping or a have garden?

Absolutely, just keep in mind that we ask our residents to personally maintain any additional landscaping.

Can I have a dog run?

Yes, subject to approval from the community manager.

What about fencing?

No additional fencing is permitted.

Can I sell my home?

Yes, you can sell it just like any other home. A new HOA agreement will be signed with the new owner.

What about the Community landscaping?

We have planted sod and grass as well as trees.

Are decks included in the purchase?

Are garages allowed?
